The first advertising campaign of 2018, starring a fictionalised version of Kim Kardashian, will hit Australian audiences in the middle of October, it has been announced.

“The first ad in 2018 will be based on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashian’ and features the Kardashian sisters as they appear on the ABC’s Keeping Up with The Kardashians, in the lead-up to their wedding to Kanye West, in Australia,” ABC Entertainment Group head of media, Mark Gwynne, said in a statement.
“We want to bring the Kardashias to life for the people of Australia and we want to make sure they are able to see them again and again in the public square.”
The film, which premiered on ABC1 on Wednesday night, follows the Kardashian clan’s appearance in the latest edition of the popular television series “KeepingUp With The Kardashies” (KWTS), which is produced by ABC1 and distributed by Sky TV.KWTs popularisationThe documentary follows the Kardashian family as they become increasingly popular in Australia, with many people seeing the show as a positive reflection of Australian culture.
Kardashian’s sister, Kim Kardashian West, is featured in episode 7 of the show, where she tells viewers that she has never been more beautiful.
The family have been a major draw in Australia for decades, with the show being watched by millions of Australians each year.
The documentary, which was made by Australian-born writer and director Adam Tisch, follows Kanye West’s rise to fame, as well as his family’s rise from a small North Queensland town to the global superstardom that they are today.
It also features interviews with other celebrities, including Rihanna, Snoop Dogg and former US President Jimmy Carter.
The Kardashian clan has been heavily criticised by the media for their celebrity and lifestyle.
