In a new campaign, the makers of iPhone and Samsung phones are launching a new wave of ads to boost sales in the wake of the recent ransomware attacks.
The ads, which are being rolled out across major U.S. markets, will begin appearing in the coming weeks in New York, California, Massachusetts, Texas and Florida.
They’ll show a young woman walking down a street in New Jersey, wearing a pink-and-white jumpsuit, while her boyfriend looks on.
“It’s about time you get a chance to buy your first iPhone,” the ad reads.
The ad, which is being dubbed “iPhone ad,” will debut in New Yorkers on Tuesday and California on Wednesday.
In response, Apple is introducing a new ad campaign.
The new campaign is targeting older iPhone owners who have been affected by ransomware attacks, such as those that hit China, which saw a wave of ransomware attacks last month.
Apple has also expanded the range of ad spots it will show in the U.K. and the U, and will also run a campaign in Canada and the Netherlands.
“Today’s ads will be designed to engage with customers in the best way possible.
It’s not just about how to use an iPhone, but also how to communicate with customers about how their phones are used, and how to protect them when they’re in trouble,” a senior executive from the advertising firm WPP told The Associated Press.
The company will also include an iPhone ad in the upcoming “Saving Face” campaign in Germany.
In the U.-K., ads will run on the “Best of London” series, which follows celebrities and brands on the road and shows them on public transportation.
In Germany, the ad will be shown on the German version of CNN.
The U.N. Security Council will also begin its annual summit in Paris on Thursday with a new theme of the threat from cyberattacks, as well as a cyber security summit on Thursday, according to a government official.
The meeting comes on the heels of a ransomware attack in Spain that left hundreds of thousands of people without power and thousands of businesses unable to operate.
The latest wave of attacks in October forced many companies to turn to their own cyber defenses, and many also said they were facing massive cyberattacks.
The recent ransomware incidents have created a major crisis for tech companies.
Apple, Microsoft and Google have said they will start using new technologies to protect their networks in the days ahead.
In addition, the National Security Agency has also said it will start releasing information about cyberattacks to help businesses detect and respond to the threats.
