You’re likely used to seeing advertisements that have an online component, but you might have noticed an oddity that you’re not seeing on Google Maps.
If you see something that looks familiar, it’s likely an ad.
But it’s not an ad for an advertiser.
If an ad doesn’t look like an ad, it might not be an ad that is actually showing.
In fact, it may just be an image of an ad on a map.
If that’s the case, here are a few ways to stop an ad from showing up on your map.1.
Click on the ad you want to stop2.
Check the box that says “No, I’m not seeing this ad”If that’s not enough, you can also use the search bar at the top of your map to find the ad.
That way, you’ll know whether it’s an ad or not.2.
Remove ads from your map by tapping the icon on the right side of your screen.3.
Go to your search bar and tap on the icon that says, “Remove ad.”
If an ad is showing, you may be able to see it in the bottom of the search results, if it’s a good ad.
If an advertisers is showing an ad in your map, you might be able also to see that ad, but it won’t necessarily be an exact match for the image.
If so, the ads may be showing you an image that isn’t an exact replica of the ad itself.
